MITCalc Straight beams calculation 1.21
Business :: Math & Scientific Tools
The application is designed for calculations of straight, maximum three times static indefinite beams with constant axis-symmetrical profiles. Application is developed in MS Excel, is multi-language, supports Imperial and Metric units and solves the following main tasks: - Simple definition of the type of beam and its loading with visual check. - Calculation of area characteristics of 20 types of cross sections. - Calculation of reactions in supports. - Calculation of minimum / maximum bending moment, stress and deflection of the beam. - Calculation and graphic illustration of the moment, stress, deflection and bending angle of the loaded beam. The application includes a table of materials and a table of area characteristics of W, S, C, L profiles acc. to ANSI/AISC and I, U, L a T profiles acc. to DIN/ISO. Used standards: DIN 1025, 1026, 1028, 1029, 1024, AISC W, S, C, L, LU This module is a part of MITCalc - Mechanical and Technical Calculation Package for gear, belt and chain drives, springs, beam, shaft, bolt connection, shaft connection, tolerances and many others

This software solves the Helmholtz, scalar wave equation so that a laser beam of your choice can be propagated to a target in almost real time. Use one of five different beam propagation methods: FFT-BPM, FD-BPM, HE-BPM, Fraunhofer or Fresnel approximations. Use the source aperture structure tool to create the beam shape with a single beam or multiple beamlets. Propagate through turbulence using coherent or incoherent beamlets.

Full-vectoral wave-optics beam propagator for optical waveguides. Create your own optical waveguide structure using the graphical user interface, define the input beam, define a waveguide length, then press one button to propagate the beam through the waveguide. See the output beam's irradiance distribution and the beam's profile as it propagates. You can also include gain in the waveguide to simulate fiber laser amplifiers.

An add-on for AUTOCAD wich identifies wooden beams from 3D DWG drawings of wooden houses. The result of the program is a drawing with the identified parts (numbered and dimensioned) and a file of quantities that can be loaded into EXCEL. DWG or DXF files can be created directly in AutoCAD, or they can come from programs that can generate wood structures (such as the software: ArchiCAD, Chief Architect, Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, Tekla, etc.).
