This was the first massive clash of tanks and aircrafts in history. 515 Soviet and 700 Japanese planes met high above the scorching desert. The Japanese Ki-27 fighter, the predecessor of the infamous Zero, proved an unpleasant surprise for the Soviets. But Stalin's Falcons had a worthy plane to fight back, the I-153 Chaika!!! The aggressors were knocked from the skies and crushed on land. Meanwhile, the Japanese Imperial Fleet set out in search of an easier target...
