ActiveX (OCX) component that allows you to play various audio files with a specific format using VB6, VS6, and ASP. The VB6 Audio Player is an ActiveX (OCX) component written for the classic Visual Basic 6 / Visual Studio 6 developers that can play MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, APE, AIF, VOX, SND and CDA many types of audio files. The component supports many events, errors handling, runs fast and easy to the use. Supports playing MP3, WMA, APE, OGG, PCM/ACM WAV, AIF, VOX, and SND audio files. No additional codec required, except for ACM (Audio Compression Manager). Allows getting and setting the position of the played file. Provides pause/unpause functionality for playback. Displays two types of audio graphs. Includes a meter for visual representation. Retrieves ID3 tags of the file. Provides file information. Lists installed ACM tags on the local machine. Lists ACM formats based on selected tags. Lists installed WMA tags on the local machine. Lists WMA formats based on selected tags. Provides information about the selected codec. Performs fast execution. Supports numerous events. User-friendly and easy to use. Includes error handling. Compatible with VB6, VC6, ASP, and other classic programming tools that support OCX/ActiveX components.
