An hourly invoice, hourly bill of sale, or hourly bill receipt is a document that provided by professional consultants, subcontractors, or casual laborers who offer service to their customers. The hourly invoice template organizes your billable hours efficiently. The template offers you a blank hourly invoice form that is intuitive and can be easily filled in. If you provide services that are charged based on hourly rates (solicitors firms, small broker companies consultants, sub-contractors, contracts, casual laborers, window cleaning, gardening, web development, programming, freelance work, consulting, dog walking, house help or similar), this might be your ideal choice. This template is in Excel format (xls format) that you can easily customize to make it suit your business needs by using various tools provided by Microsoft Excel. For example, you can adjust the fonts, colors, borders, patters, and even formulas. The template is printable on standard A4 paper. To adjust the print options, open the Page Setup dialog box of Excel, by clicking the menu File / Page Setup in Excel 2003 or lower version, or the by clicking the Page Setup command in the Page Layout ribbon tab. The hourly billing form offers common fields required by hourly service invoices, such as detailed job location, and for each service item performed, you can specify its hourly rate and hours worked. The amount of each service item is calculated automatically from hourly rate and hours worked. Then, on the bottom of the invoice form, the subtotal field calculates the sum of all the line totals, the tax field calculates the tax amount based on the tax rate specified. The 'total' is also calculated automatically using Excel formula.
