The date is May 11, 1939. The battles of Khalkhin Gol are breaking out violently. This was the first massive clash of tanks and aircrafts in history. 515 Soviet and 700 Japanese planes met high above the scorching desert. The Japanese Ki-27 fighter, the predecessor of the infamous Zero, proved an unpleasant surprise for the Soviets. But Stalin's Falcons had a worthy plane to fight back, the I-153 Chaika!!! The aggressors were knocked from the skies and crushed on land. Meanwhile, the Japanese Imperial Fleet set out in search of an easier target...
