Laminate-coated labels:-Laminates are the most suitable material for labels that will be exposed to moisture, abrasion, and light. Laminated coating is considered the ultimate protection by industry experts, as it is considered the gold standard for label protective coatings. Laminates not only protect against scuffing but also enhance their resistance to smearing from oils and other agents. Advantage of varnish and laminate labels:-Varnish labels:-*A varnish can enhance the print and stock of the label it is added to. *Varnish labels provide protection against moderate scuffing and smudging. * Varnishes are cost-effective and provide a smooth finish to custom labels, ensuring a consistent texture. * A varnish can be applied to improve the imprinting on the label stock. Laminate labels:-*Lamination is a protective layer which applied to product labels. * A laminate is recommended for labels that will be exposed to oils or liquids, as it provides better protection for the label's quality.
